Information System and Information Technology
Information System and TechnologyAn information system is defined as components that work together to provide desired information in the people format at an appropriate time. A single business organization may have many types of informatio systems and subsystems. Since the main focus of this text is on information technology and its use in business, our definition of information system assumes the use of computers as a part of the system. Of course, businesses may have many manual systems as well as information systems. An information system, then, involves the use of information technology for some business purpose. Information technology refers to the computer equipment itself and whatever is stored in it-programs and data. An information system is developed to use this technology effectively to meet a business need.Information technology today is helping companies to reduce their operating costs while improving their ability to meet the needs of their customers.Business strategists often recommend that organizations avoid putting too much emphasis on the technology itself. Instead, companies should focus on satisfying their customers' needs. Then when they use the technology appropriately to develop information systems to meet their goals, they are more likely to be successful.

Sripatum University The university places importance on creating an academic environment that are conducieve to learning at the university level. There is a state-of-the-art library and a well-eqipped Piyachart Multi-Media Center that provide resources for self-learning and professional development in the film and broadcasting industry.
The university places the highest priority in recruiting qualified instructors. A faculty member in an undergraduate program must earn a master degree from an accredited university and must have the necessary instructional skill and professional experience to teach, guide and supervise students in learning and extra-curricula activities.Lecturers at the postgraduate level must have professional experience and a doctorate degree.
The university encourages faculty members to further their education by providing scholarships for master and doctoral studies both in Thailand and abroad. As of June 2002, there are more than 100 faculty members awarded scholarships furthering their education in higher learning institutions across USA, UK, Australia, and Thailand.
Faculty members and staff are also encouraged to take part in training and seminars and to conduct research. This is to encourage university personnel to update their knowledge and set a good example to students in professional development.
The university realizes the importance of globalization. In 1997, the Ministry of University Affairs approved the International Business Communications curriculum in the International Business Program. SPU cooperates with many universities in the United States, Australia and Europe in the student/faculty exchange program, in joint academic development. Sripatum International College
Sripatum University, one of the finest private universities in Thailand, was established in 1970 by the name "Sripatum College". This name was given by HRH the Princess Mother. In 1987, the college was promoted to universsity status by the Ministry of University Affairs, and has since been known as Sripatum University. From then on, the university has expanded to three campuses; Bangkhen and Phyathai Campuses in Bangkok, and the one in Chonburi Province near the country's EasternSeaboard. In Saterday 18 November,2006. I went to field tip
with my room-mate and teacher.I wake up at 6.00 in the morning. We went to by bus and We went out side University since 7.30 and we arried at kanjanaburi
about 10.00 o'clock. In this day we went to 3 place the prist place in
Kanjanaburi at Ban-kan museum. second place at Prasat Muang Singha after we had a luch and the last place at Quere river bridge. Today I fell very happy and enjoey very much. I never try because it good tip and I get to learn so many and get to extra knowleage too. It good day.
